As we as mezzanine floors and industrial shelving, we have over 30 years of experience in the specification, supply and installation of all kinds of pallet racking. As well as racking we also supply and install all types of warehouse storage equipment and warehouse ancillaries, from racking signs to mobile safety steps, plastic parts bins to 2.5 tonne scissor lifts.

We design our racking to accommodate the specific requirements of your company and we know that requirements vary depending on the client.

Because we are independent and have no commercial links with any racking manufacturer, we are able to select the best product for your application from a wide range of manufacturers, both UK based and from mainland Europe.

We employ the latest Autocad design software and are able to custom design the system for your specific requirements, maximising your storage space using "off the shelf" components to minimise lead times.

Our installation teams are experienced, fully qualified, fully equipped and fully trained to SEIRS, IPAF & ITSSAR. We are also a SEMA Approved Installation Company.

Types of Racking System

Adjustable Pallet Racking

The most commonly used style of racking used for general storage where access is required to pallets at all times.

Double Deep Racking

As above but reduces the number of aisles at the cost of stock availability. Needs specially adapted FLT.

Narrow Aisle Racking

Similar in construction to Adjustable pallet racking, but with reduced aisle widths to increase capacity. Will require the use of specialist Fork Truck.

Very Narrow Aisle Racking

An extreme version of above, usually used in large distribution centres to maximise capacity. Usually used in conjunction with a crane loading/unloading system.

Drive-In Racking

High density storage system, most useful for high volumes of bulk stock. Works on a First In - Last out (FILO) principle.

Push-back Racking

High density storage system, where pallets are placed on inclined roller sections, the pushed into the system by the next pallet. Also works on a FILO principle.

Pallet Live Storage

Often referred to as "Roller rack" this high density system works on a FIFO (First In- First Out) principle and is ideal for product that requires stock rotation.

Mobile Pallet Racking

A high density version of APR where racking is mounted on powered moveable chassis frames to allow aisles to be opened or closed. Best used where space is very costly or where stock is infrequently accessed.

Cantilever Racking

Typically used for long or awkward loads that cannot be easily stored on conventional pallet racking. Often used by timber merchants and steel stockholders.

Vertical or "A-frame" racking

Used to store long materials vertically. More suitable for lighter weight goods (plastic tubing etc).
